A useful lash-serum comparison considers ingredients, directions, bottle size, purchase price and cautions. A ranking position alone cannot tell you which formula suits your eyes.
Start with the full formula.
Names such as “growth,” “enhancing” and “conditioning” can appear on different kinds of products. Read the current ingredient list and directions for the exact product, rather than inferring its formula from a brand name.
For example, The Ordinary describes its Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum as prostaglandin-free. That describes its formulation; it does not guarantee that nobody will experience irritation.
Compare the bottle you will actually buy.
A large bottle and a trial size may appear on the same product page with different prices. In our comparison, The Ordinary is $14.90 for 5 mL, Qualash is $59.00 for 3.5 mL and RevitaLash is $100.00 for 2 mL.
Price per mL helps compare volume. It cannot tell you how long the bottle will last without knowing the amount used per application. Check shipping and taxes as part of your budget.
Read claims in context.
Manufacturer timelines and before-and-after images are not a promise of your own result. Look for information about what was measured, how many people participated, and whether the full study is available. This site does not claim to have clinically tested the products.
Make room for careful application.
The FDA advises keeping eye-area tools clean, not sharing cosmetics, and stopping a product if it causes irritation. If irritation persists, see a doctor. Always read the product’s specific directions and cautions.
